About The Position

AvantStay is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Housekeeper to clean and service units at The Code Hotel in Austin. The Housekeeper follows AvantStay’s guidelines and standards, service sequence, and inspection checklists, completing work in a timely manner to exceed guest expectations. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing memorable guest experiences and world-class customer service.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Availability to work a flexible, full-time schedule as necessary, including weekends.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to maintain well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
• Attention to detail and ability to complete cleans in a timely manner.

• Previous housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in hotel rooms, including vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping according to AvantStay standards and guidelines.
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost from room receptacles.
• Clean and sanitize trash and recycling bins and replace their liners.
• Replace linens in rooms, including bedding, sheets, and towels; clean linens are provided because laundry service is offsite.
• Report room issues, including damage and security concerns.
• Follow health and safety regulations, company policies, and licensing laws.
• Check and report stock levels of consumables and cleaning supplies.
• Create and complete daily job lists and complete paperwork and inspection forms.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
