HOUSEKEEPER (FULL AND PART TIME)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time Housekeepers at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. The role performs light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and orderly environment, including cleaning rooms and halls, making beds, replenishing linens, and vacuuming. No prior experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Days and hours may vary; further schedule details are provided upon interview. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry. Housekeepers contribute to a clean and orderly healthcare setting while delivering attentive customer service and working professionally with customers, fellow associates, and others.
Requirements
- No prior experience is required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens as required.
- Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
- Respond to guest queries and requests.
- Respond to housekeeping problem calls, such as spills and broken glasses.
- Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
