About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time Housekeepers at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. The Housekeeper performs light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and orderly healthcare environment, including cleaning rooms and halls, making beds, replenishing linens, and vacuuming. The role provides detailed, one-on-one customer service and contributes to team efforts with professionalism. No prior experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Days and hours may vary, and rotating weekends are required.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service with one-on-one attention to detail.
Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
Wipe down glass surfaces.
Make beds and change linens as required.
Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
Respond to guest queries and requests.
Respond to housekeeping problem calls, such as spills and broken glasses.
Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
