HOUSEKEEPER (FULL AND PART TIME)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time Housekeepers at Cherokee Medical Center & Hospital in Gaffney, South Carolina. The role performs light cleaning duties to keep hospital areas clean and orderly, including cleaning rooms and halls, replenishing linens, making beds, and vacuuming. The Housekeeper provides attentive customer service, responds to requests and housekeeping problems, and contributes professionally to team efforts. No prior experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Schedules are Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary, and rotating weekends are required.
Requirements

- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service with one-on-one attention to detail.
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens as required.
- Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
- Respond to guest queries and requests.
- Respond to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
- Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
