About The Position
Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper and help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role supports HCSG’s goal of positively impacting the communities it serves and enhancing customer and resident experiences. The Housekeeper performs daily cleaning and sanitation tasks, follows infection-control and safety procedures, maintains records, and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests. Residency within the service area is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Ability to work around cleaning products.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
- Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
