About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper in a long-term care facility, helping maintain a clean and safe environment and positively impact the community. The role involves carrying out daily cleaning and sanitation tasks while following established procedures, safety guidelines, infection-control policies, and universal precautions. Housekeepers interact with residents, staff, and guests and provide customer service. Starting pay is USD $13.00 per hour. Residency within the service area is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices as part of daily housekeeping tasks.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
