About The Position

Hotel Management & Consulting, Inc. is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers who can clean efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The role involves preparing and cleaning guest rooms to established standards, maintaining public areas, assisting with laundry, attending to guest needs, communicating maintenance issues, and following property emergency and security procedures. Requirements

• Effective oral communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to work a changing schedule.
• Ability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending, and twisting for long periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior housekeeping experience, preferably in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean guest rooms to meet cleaning standards and minute-per-room labor standards.
• Maintain public areas.
• Offer hotel amenities, products, and services to accommodate guest needs and increase revenues.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed.
• Communicate maintenance work orders to maintenance staff and/or management.
• Know and follow property emergency procedures.
• Ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
