About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards while cleaning resort property units and following MasterCorp’s mission statement and values. The role involves cleaning guest units, reporting readiness and maintenance or inventory issues, providing guest services cleans as directed, and helping maintain organized storage areas. Housekeepers must maintain a safe working environment, respond promptly to guest complaints, and ensure units are turned around on time. Additional tasks may be assigned by MasterCorp Management.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodation.
Ability to make decisions.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of excellence.
Strip units of soiled linens.
Remove trash from units.
Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, decks, and other areas of units.
Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection.
Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
Report damaged, dirty, or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
Report missing inventory and supplies to the Supervisor.
Perform weekly guest services cleans as directed.
Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage closets.
Attend training sessions and apply the training in practice.
Ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in solving guest complaints promptly.
Maintain a high sense of urgency to ensure units are turned on time.
