About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains cleanliness throughout the facility, including resident and patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas. The role follows facility policies and procedures and infection control guidelines. The position is based at Benedictine Living Community – La Crosse and has an every-other-weekend schedule.

Requirements

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Dependable and detail-oriented, with pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident discharges and prepare rooms for the next admission.
• Ensure areas are stocked with supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Operate and care for housekeeping equipment, including vacuums, housekeeping carts, and carpet-cleaning machines.
• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming surroundings for residents.
