About The Position
Atrium Centers is seeking an Activity Assistant to support engaging programs that meet residents’ social, emotional, and recreational needs. The position helps bring joy, connection, and purpose to residents’ days by supporting activities that promote dignity, independence, and well-being. The role is based at Tomah Nursing & Rehabilitation in Tomah, Wisconsin, and is scheduled every other weekend.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Genuine care and compassion for residents.
- Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to engage residents with enthusiasm and creativity.
- Excellent attendance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating activity programs.
- Support the execution of the daily and monthly activity calendar.
- Engage residents in group and individual activities.
- Help meet residents’ spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, and social needs.
- Encourage participation while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
- Collaborate with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team.
