About The Position

Hazelhurst Court Care and Rehab is hiring a Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to work in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the RN Weekend Supervisor applies a general understanding of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills to develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans that meet customers’ needs. The role assists with orienting and supervising nursing personnel, attends to daily unit operations on a per-shift and unit-level basis, and assumes leadership responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license issued in the state where the person will practice.
• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Physical assessment skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing.
• Experience in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure customers’ needs are met.
