About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring Registered Nurses for the weekend option at Elkhart Meadows, with part-time and full-time positions available. Nurses develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role involves supporting residents, coordinating care with facility teams, and contributing to a respectful, positive work environment. Requirements

Hold a current, valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
Have proficient medication management skills.
Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
Work with the team toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
Manage medications proficiently.
Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
