About The Position
The Housekeeper maintains cleanliness throughout the facility, including resident and patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas. The role follows facility policies and procedures and infection control guidelines. This is an every-other-weekend position at Benedictine Living Community – La Crosse, supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
Requirements
- Dependable and detail-oriented, with pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Complete resident discharges and prepare rooms for the next admission.
- Ensure areas are stocked with items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Operate and care for housekeeping equipment, including vacuums, housekeeping carts, and carpet cleaning machines.
- Maintain cleanliness in resident and patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas while following policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines.
