About The Position
Provides a superior level of cleaning quality in assigned areas to maintain a clean working environment. The role includes cleaning specialty healthcare areas and supporting infection prevention, life safety, and safe handling of hazardous materials.
Responsibilities
- Clean specialty areas, including NICU, L&D, CCU, ED, and OR.
- Perform light floor care, including buffing and carpet spotting.
- Understand procedures for life safety codes.
- Clean chemical and medicine spills, including USP 800 spills.
- Use AIDET in patient rooms.
- Apply infection control techniques and proper hand hygiene.
- Handle biohazards, including sharps and body-fluid spills, safely.
