Housekeeper - EVS Technician
About The Position
Vantage Point Hospital is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean and healthy patient care environment. The role performs cleaning, custodial, sanitation, and supply-stocking duties throughout the facility and follows infection control measures. The position pays $14.50 to $16.50 per hour. A high school diploma or equivalent and prior housekeeping experience in a commercial, clinical, or healthcare environment are preferred. CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification are required; training is available upon hire and offered by the facility. A valid state driver's license may be required at some facilities, and first aid may be required based on state or facility requirements. Management may add or remove duties as circumstances dictate. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and custodial tasks to maintain the facility's upkeep, sanitation, and cleanliness.
- Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and supplies using appropriate cleaning processes and germicides.
- Perform other housekeeping duties, including moving and arranging furniture, turning mattresses, cleaning kitchens and utensils, and sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors as needed.
- Launder soiled linens as directed.
- Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for department or unit use.
- Clean and store equipment and supplies properly after each shift.
- Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for facility functions.
- Stock supplies as needed.
- Follow all infection control measures.
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
