About The Position

Vantage Point Hospital is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean and healthy patient care environment. The position pays $14.50 to $16.50 per hour. Duties include cleaning and disinfecting rooms, equipment, and other facility areas; performing general housekeeping and custodial work; laundering linens; maintaining cleaning supplies; and following infection-control measures. CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification are required, with training available upon hire.

Requirements

A valid state driver's license is required where required by the facility.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience in a commercial, clinical, or healthcare environment preferred.
First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning and custodial tasks to maintain the facility's general upkeep, sanitation, and cleanliness.
Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and supplies using appropriate processes and germicides.
Perform other housekeeping duties, including moving and arranging furniture, turning mattresses, cleaning kitchens and utensils, and sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors as needed.
Launder soiled linens as directed.
Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for department or unit use.
Clean and store equipment and supplies properly after each shift.
Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for facility functions.
Stock supplies as needed.
Follow all infection-control measures.
Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
