About The Position

Vantage Point Hospital is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean and healthy patient care environment. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing the facility, disinfecting rooms and equipment, handling laundry, maintaining supplies, and preparing rooms for meetings and facility functions. The hourly pay range is $14.50 to $16.50. The position may also include other duties as assigned. Management reserves the right to adjust duties based on circumstances such as emergencies, workload changes, urgent jobs, or technological developments.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience in a commercial, clinical, or healthcare environment preferred.
Valid state driver's license where required by the facility.
CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required; training is available upon hire and offered by the facility.
First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning and custodial tasks to maintain the facility's general upkeep, sanitation, and cleanliness.
Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and supplies using appropriate cleaning processes and germicides.
Move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, clean kitchens and cooking utensils, and sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors as needed.
Launder soiled linens as directed.
Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for department or unit use.
Clean and store equipment and supplies properly after each shift.
Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for facility functions.
Stock supplies as needed.
Follow all infection control measures.
Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
