About The Position

Wedgewood Weddings is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain clean, welcoming, and guest-ready public and event spaces at its wedding venues. The role supports polished, professional settings for couples and guests by maintaining floors, surfaces, restrooms, linens, and other venue areas in accordance with health and safety standards. The position requires an overnight or very early morning schedule before the venue opens. Regular availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts is also required, as are shifts longer than eight hours and workweeks exceeding 40 hours. The company describes the position as offering flexible part-time hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Professional, courteous demeanor and a team-oriented mindset.

• Previous housekeeping experience; training is available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of event and public spaces, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and restock restrooms so they remain guest-ready.
• Care for cleaning equipment and safely store supplies.
• Launder and change linens as needed.
• Clean windows, glass, mirrors, and other surfaces.
• Remove trash and recycling from designated areas.
• Promptly report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Complete tasks in accordance with health and safety standards.
