About The Position

Housekeepers are responsible for general maintenance of the clubhouse building, lodge, and surrounding areas. Duties include cleaning and maintaining shared spaces, lodge rooms, and member homes; laundering linens and towels; replenishing supplies; and taking out trash. The employee must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and perform other duties requested by the supervisor. This position is an at-will employment relationship and the listed duties are not exhaustive.

Requirements

• Must be physically able to perform the assigned work.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
• Must be able to work in hot conditions for long periods of time.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, iron, and fold linens and towels.
• Replenish supplies in bathrooms and locker rooms.
• Dust pictures, tables, and countertops.
• Vacuum or sweep and mop all building areas daily.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and locker rooms.
• Clean lodge rooms, including changing linens, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, showers, and tubs, and vacuuming.
• Restock mini bars in lodge rooms and maintain lists of guest consumption.
• Replenish supplies in lodge rooms.
• Clean member homes by performing the duties listed above.
• Take out trash in all areas.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other duties requested by the supervisor.
