About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains the cleanliness of the facility for residents, visitors, and employees, taking pride and ownership in the facility’s condition to help ensure a welcoming environment. Employees must complete and be cleared through the applicable state background-check requirements before having contact with patients or residents.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and facility staff.
• Knowledge of infection control techniques.
• Ability to be patient and polite.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in a long-term care environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and other facility areas.
• Safely mix and use cleaning solutions and store them in a secure area.
• Label and remove infectious waste bags and containers.
• Maintain punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
• Carry out job responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
