About The Position

The Housekeeper demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing guests with the best possible experience. The role is responsible for cleaning guest rooms according to company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures, and for helping maintain the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The position requires following safety and security procedures, communicating with the manager and staff, and completing required and annual Extended Stay University training. No prior experience or training is necessary.

Follow guidelines and adhere to time objectives, productivity measurements, and company standards and expectations.
Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates.
Clean assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards while in use.
Stock carts and cart rooms when necessary or as directed by management.
Report maintenance issues to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
Report guest property remaining in a checked-out room to the front desk and manager on duty.
Assist with guest requests and provide reasonable accommodations whenever possible and practical.
Comply with all safety and security policies and procedures.
Complete all required and annual Extended Stay University training.
Clean other hotel areas as assigned, including associate breakrooms, guest laundry, fitness rooms, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
