About The Position

As a Cleaner at Velociti Services, you will provide commercial cleaning services at client locations, focusing on routine custodial and janitorial tasks such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and removing waste. The role involves working with other employees, following safety and company procedures, responding to supervision, maintaining a professional appearance and conduct, and supporting customer satisfaction. Cleaners may help cover staffing shortages and assist the shift lead with outstanding checklist items.

The stated schedule is Sunday through Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The position requires physical activity including lifting, bending, squatting, stretching, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

• Be able to lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Be able to lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments.
• Be able to climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day.
• Be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum floors.
• Clean edges and corners.
• Dust.
• Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms.
• Clean windows.
• Empty trash and transport it to the proper disposal area.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Work with other employees, maintain a clean work area, and follow company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Fill in during staffing shortages and support the shift lead in completing checklist items.
• Build respectful relationships with teammates and guests, coordinate with internal departments, and participate in team meetings.
