About The Position

The Housekeeper provides housekeeping services for residents, helping make their living areas comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The role also keeps shared spaces—including the lobby and employee break room—tidy and orderly. This full-time position is at Castlewood in Nixa, Missouri, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay is $15.50–$20.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of eighth-grade proficiency.
• Have a positive, energetic attitude and a strong interest in working with residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds and push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
• Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
• Have good physical health verified by a physician's health screening conducted no more than six months before employment or within seven days after employment.
• Test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of the health screening.
• Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping services for residents and keep their areas clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
• Keep shared areas, including the lobby and employee break room, tidy and clean, with items in their place.
• Push and pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
