About The Position

The Housekeeper provides housekeeping services for residents, helping keep their living areas comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The role also maintains tidy, clean shared spaces, including the lobby and employee break room, and ensures items are in their proper place. The position is part-time at The Riverside Senior Living in Maumelle, Arkansas, with a schedule of two days per week from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $14–$17 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency with residents.
• Positive, energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
• Good physical health and the physical and mental capability to perform assigned tasks.
• A physician-performed health screening no more than six months before or seven days after employment; must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of screening.
• Must be criminally cleared.
