About The Position

Avante at Orlando Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to carry out the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department. The work is performed in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards and as directed by the Housekeeping/Laundry Services Supervisor and/or the Administrator. The goal is to maintain the facility in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. The position is located at 2000 N Semoran Blvd, Orlando, Florida. Compensation is $15 per hour, and the employer advertises daily pay. Applicants must be at least 18, speak and understand English, have a positive attitude toward older adults, and be a high school graduate. Previous long-term-care experience is preferred. Employment requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must speak and understand English.
Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly.
Must be a high school graduate.
Must complete background screening through the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in long-term care is preferred.
