Housekeeper - PT/On-Call

About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains clean and sanitary resident rooms, common areas, and offices while following Weatherly Inn’s standards for safety and care. The role is in Environmental Services and reports to the Environmental Supervisor, Administrator. The listed schedule is 6:15 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. Pay is competitive and depends on qualifications (DOQ). The position is described as part-time/on-call. Weatherly Inn is a family-owned senior living community focused on memory care and resident-centered support, working with families to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a warm, professional environment. Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds; pushing 250-pound carts or residents as needed; and standing, walking, bending, squatting, and performing repetitive arm and hand motions. Dementia training is required within 90 days of hire. A high school diploma or GED and one year of housekeeping experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean resident rooms, offices, and common areas according to established policies.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Dispose of trash and manage cleaning supplies.
Promptly report needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
Follow the Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
