About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains clean and sanitary resident rooms, common areas, and offices while following Weatherly Inn’s standards for safety and care. This position is in the Environmental Services department and reports to the Environmental Supervisor and Administrator. The schedule is 6:15 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. Pay is competitive and depends on qualifications. The role is part-time/on-call. Dementia training is required within 90 days of hire.

Requirements

• Dementia training within 90 days of hire.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, offices, and common areas according to established policies.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Dispose of trash and manage cleaning supplies.
• Promptly report needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Follow the Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
