About The Position

Porters Neck Village is recruiting a part-time Housekeeping Associate to perform housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the community. The position works Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and pays $15 per hour. The role helps maintain an attractive, clean, comfortable, sanitary, and organized environment that meets residents’ needs. Employees are expected to uphold the community’s hospitality standards, including treating residents, employees, and guests with respect, anticipating and responding to needs, maintaining professionalism, and paying attention to detail.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to work around household pets such as cats and dogs.
Ability to work in inclement weather while walking from home to home.

Nice To Haves

Three to six months of experience in a housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.
Enthusiasm, compassion, and a passion for hospitality and senior engagement.
