About The Position

The Housekeeping Assistant provides cleaning services to maintain a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role supports infection control, survey readiness, and residents’ quality of life.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Prior housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily according to facility standards.
• Perform terminal cleaning of resident rooms as needed.
• Clean windows, walls, ceilings, floors, and furniture according to schedules.
• Handle and dispose of waste, including biohazardous waste, according to facility procedures.
• Monitor for pests and report concerns to a supervisor.
• Assist with emergency cleaning tasks and survey preparation.
