Housekeeper (Relief OR)
About The Position
The Housekeeper is an entry-level opportunity on Mary Bridge Children's Environmental Services team. The role ensures patients and families have the best possible experience when visiting a MultiCare facility by keeping environmental surfaces orderly and sanitary. The position is a relief assignment in the OR, scheduled Friday through Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., at 0.8 FTE. Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network is based in Tacoma, Washington, and serves communities throughout the South Sound. Its pediatric hospital, clinics, and specialty network bring together providers, nurses, and team members to deliver care for children and families.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous Housekeeper experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties and maintain environmental surfaces in an orderly and sanitary condition.
- Organize and complete required department tasks in coordination with services provided by patient care personnel and other support service departments.
- Communicate effectively with the team and nursing staff.
- Partner with a service-oriented attitude and professional integrity.
