About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains the general cleanliness and upkeep of common-area facilities at the assigned property, including areas such as the pool and spa, club room, public restrooms, and laundry rooms. The role has a customer-centric focus and supports an extraordinary living and learning environment through professional service to residents. The Housekeeper may also assist with general property maintenance, cleaning, and moving services as needed. The position involves physically demanding work, routine housekeeping, attention to safety, and availability in an on-call capacity except during approved PTO periods.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED or trade school diploma and one year of full-time experience in some aspect of cleaning or housekeeping, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read instructions efficiently and document labor and materials.
Record of punctuality and dependability.
Ability to work under deadline pressure and schedule flexibility to accommodate after-hours and weekend emergencies.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to stand for 8 hours or longer per day and lift up to 100 pounds as necessary.
Availability to serve in an on-call capacity except during approved PTO periods.

Responsibilities

Maintain the physical condition of the property according to The Scion Group’s Standard Operating Procedures, OSHA requirements, and industry standards.
Perform physically demanding work to maintain the property and its features and minimize liability concerns.
Perform routine housekeeping activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing as directed.
Sweep and remove debris from curbs, parking areas, walkways, and stairways as scheduled.
Handle requests with professionalism and patience.
Notify superiors about damages, deficits, and disturbances.
Promote safety awareness to limit property loss, damage, or injury to residents and visitors.
Follow health and safety rules and property policies and procedures.
Use appropriate tools and equipment.
Complete training related to job duties as deemed necessary.
Maintain the required property uniform and a professional appearance and attitude.
Assist with general property maintenance, cleaning, and moving services as needed.
