About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a full-time Housekeeper at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The role performs cleaning duties to maintain clean and orderly healthcare facilities, including cleaning rooms and halls, replenishing linens, making beds, and vacuuming. The Housekeeper provides attentive customer service, responds to guest requests and housekeeping issues, and contributes to a professional team environment. The fixed pay rate is $17.75 per hour.

Requirements

Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service with one-on-one attention to detail.
Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash sanitarily.
Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
Wipe down glass surfaces.
Make beds and change linens as required.
Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
Respond to guest queries and requests.
Respond to housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses.
Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
