Requirements

Must be willing to obtain and maintain a clearance at the TS/SCI access level or higher
A combination of education and directly related experience equal to one (1) year; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
U.S. Citizen
Valid driver’s license required
Must be able to work as a part of a team
Ability to follow schedule of room check outs
Attention to detail and conscientiousness
Good physical condition and strength

Nice To Haves

Experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role a plus
General knowledge of cleaning and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

Cleaning billeting rooms. Includes making beds, replenishing amenities, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
Vacuuming
Laundry in large capacity machines and residential units.
Mopping, dust mopping, sweeping and scrubbing floors.
Empty waste containers.
Low and high cleaning.
Deliver collected refuse to the dumpster.
Perform restroom cleaning.
Clean water fountains.
Clean freight and passenger elevators.
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors at prescribed heights.
Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
Shampoo carpets and some furniture.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners.
Police grounds and empty waste containers.
Assist in Special Events setups.
Monitor building for maintenance, safety and security issues and report any violations to immediate Supervisor or Management.
Maintains custodial equipment in a clean, safe operable condition.
Report shortage of supplies and equipment failures to immediate Supervisor or Management.
Performs other related work as assigned.
