About The Position

Texas Health Cleburne is hiring a full-time daytime Housekeeper. The role contributes to a teamwork-oriented, fast-paced, high-volume department and includes training, mentorship, and leadership resources. The Housekeeper cleans assigned areas according to established procedures and infection control, sanitation, and safety guidelines; replenishes linens and supplies; prepares housekeeping carts and work areas for the next service period; and maintains and reports issues with equipment.

Requirements

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently, set priorities, and remain flexible in assignments.
Ability to work around housekeeping chemicals.
Full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Six months of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned areas according to procedures and established infection control, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, remove trash and dirty linen, and clean sinks, commodes, countertops, showers, and beds.
Replenish linen and other supplies, including paper towels, trash bags, and toilet tissue, in assigned areas.
Replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas to prepare for the next service period.
Keep equipment clean and report broken equipment to the supervisor.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
