About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Housekeeper at Rushwood in Wichita, Kansas. The role provides housekeeping services for residents, helping make living areas comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The Housekeeper also keeps shared spaces—including the lobby and employee break room—tidy and organized. The scheduled shift is 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Pay is $17 to $19.25 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency with residents.
Positive, energetic attitude and an enthusiasm for working with residents.
Professional appearance and conduct.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds and push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
Must be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
Good physical health must be verified by a physician-performed health screening no more than six months before employment or within seven days after employment.
Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of the health screening.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Provide housekeeping services for residents and keep their living areas clean and comfortable.
