About The Position

Freedom Square of Seminole is an upscale senior living community in Seminole, Florida, offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing care. The Environmental Services department is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Housekeeper who enjoys serving others in a fast-paced workplace. The community describes its work culture as fun, caring, and inclusive, with clean facilities, low-acuity patients, and good staffing ratios.

The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., including every other weekend. The role includes general housekeeping duties and requires attention to sanitation, detail, and hospitality. Employees are expected to interact warmly and respectfully with residents, coworkers, and guests and maintain professionalism in conduct and appearance.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Ability to communicate, understand, and follow instructions in English.
• Time management skills.
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; the posting references two years of previous housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting surfaces.
• Complete work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow the community’s hospitality promises when interacting with residents, employees, and guests, including greeting people warmly, treating them courteously, responding to needs in a timely manner, and maintaining professionalism.
