About The Position
Friendship Village Chesterfield is hiring a full-time Housekeeper for its Skilled Nursing community in Chesterfield, Missouri. The role helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. The available schedule is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotating weekends required.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or a hotel.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift.
- Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established schedules and standards.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize assigned areas.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces to support infection prevention.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Replenish paper products, soap, and other housekeeping supplies.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
- Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with Nursing, Environmental Services, and other departments to provide exceptional resident care.
