About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper, helping maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role supports HCSG’s commitment to positively impacting communities and enhancing customer and resident experiences. The starting pay rate is USD $15.00 per hour.

The Housekeeper performs daily cleaning and sanitation, maintains activity records, follows infection-control and safety procedures, and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests. The position requires physical activity, the ability to work around cleaning products, and residency within the service area. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Be able to work around cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize all areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
