Housekeeper (PRN / Evenings)
About The Position
The Housekeeper cleans assigned areas according to established procedures and infection-control, sanitation, and safety guidelines. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, removing trash and dirty linen, and cleaning sinks, commodes, countertops, showers, and beds. The Housekeeper replenishes supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas, keeps equipment clean, and reports broken equipment to a supervisor. Other related duties may be assigned. This is a PRN, as-needed position on the evening shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Texas Health Dallas in Dallas, Texas. Environmental Services is a fast-paced, high-volume department that offers teamwork, mentorship, comprehensive training, and dedicated leadership resources.
Requirements
- Six months of related experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and be flexible in assignments.
- Ability to work around housekeeping chemicals.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
