About The Position

The Housekeeper performs commercial cleaning at Terumo Medical Corp. East Plant in Elkton, Maryland, using ServiceMaster TBS Division cleaning schedules, products, tools, and procedures. Duties include routine cleaning and weekly detailed cleaning. On-the-job training is provided to candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The listed pay is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Arrive at the work location at the scheduled time.
• Work within allotted hours.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Show respect and understanding for coworkers and customers.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
• Wear the proper uniform at all times.
• Be able to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Be able to perform constant standing, walking, pushing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash.
• Dust furniture, including desks, chairs, and tables.
• Dust exposed surfaces, including window sills, ledges, and moldings.
• Clean glass and mirrors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
• Vacuum and mop floors.
• Perform weekly detailed cleaning.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
• Complete special requests communicated by the client and record them in the company log.
