About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of resident apartments and community common areas. The role includes general cleaning, preparing vacant apartments for resident move-ins, and responding promptly to residents’ and guests’ needs and requests. The Housekeeper may also be asked to help respond to resident emergencies and is expected to maintain a positive, professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments, hallways, and other common areas.
• Assist in preparing empty apartments for resident move-ins.
• Respond quickly to residents’ and guests’ needs and requests to support their satisfaction.
• Help respond to resident emergencies when asked.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co-workers.
