About The Position

The Room Cleaning Attendant helps provide a comfortable and enjoyable hotel stay for guests by cleaning guest rooms and replenishing supplies. The role includes cleaning guest laundry areas and delivering requested items to rooms while responding to guest requests courteously and promptly. The attendant works independently or with a small group as part of the broader hotel team. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday for 32–40 hours per week.

Requirements

Be highly organized.
Be able to work most of the shift standing and constantly moving.
Be able to lift 20 pounds.
Have strong guest-service skills.
Have attention to detail and a customer-service orientation.
Be able to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and coworkers.
Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Clean showers, toilets, and sinks.
Replenish toiletries, soap, lotion, and paper products.
Clean the guest laundry washer and dryer and table, and mop the floor as needed.
Deliver towels, extra pillows, supplies, and other requested items to guest rooms.
Respond to guest requests in a timely and courteous manner.
Report and deliver lost-and-found items to the appropriate office or department.
Work collaboratively and support team members to help ensure a positive guest experience.
