About The Position
Benedictine is a non-profit senior care organization founded by the sisters of St. Scholastica. Certified Nursing Assistants provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect and have choices in their lives. The position provides direct resident care, reports changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN, and records care in the POC system. The role is part-time, with a listed schedule of 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Benedictine describes its culture as centered on Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice, with a focus on providing a comforting and empowering environment for residents and team members. Requirements
- Be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Have BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care.
- Report changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN.
- Chart in the POC system.
- Demonstrate time management and prioritize tasks.
