About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains cleanliness throughout the UNIQLO store, including the showroom and sales floor, fitting rooms, restrooms, break room, and other common and work areas. The role provides housekeeping services in accordance with operational and cleanliness standards and responds to requests from customers, staff, and management. The position is offered part-time and full-time at $18.50–$19.50 per hour. For full-time availability, employees must be available at least five days per week, averaging 32 or more hours weekly based on business seasonality, with no more than two days off in a Monday-to-Sunday workweek. Scheduling restrictions are limited to three days per week, with only one restriction permitted from Friday through Sunday; when there are three restrictions in a week, at least one must be time-based.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least six months of previous housekeeping experience and responsibility.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic communication skills.
Positive attitude and self-motivation.
Ability to use a ladder, vacuum, broom/mop, pushcart, and hand truck.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing according to operational standards.
Clean and maintain fitting rooms.
Remove trash from registers, restrooms, offices, and common areas; transport waste to disposal areas.
Clean and restock restrooms, including sanitizing toilets and sinks and replacing used hand towels, paper towels, and napkins.
Dust the sales floor, including high and low areas.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas to meet health standards.
Keep storage areas and carts stocked, clean, and tidy.
Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations, media equipment, and furniture for social or business functions.
Participate in meetings and provide recommendations to improve service and operations.
