About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role contributes to the communities HCSG serves by supporting excellent customer and resident experiences.

The Housekeeper performs daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; follows established procedures and safety guidelines; maintains cleaning records; and reports maintenance or safety issues. The role also involves following infection control policies and universal precautions, and interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. The job requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks, follow oral and written instructions, work around cleaning products, and meet the stated physical requirements. Residency within the service area is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds and push and pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Be able to work around cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
