About The Position
Adventist Rehabilitation - Rockville seeks an experienced Housekeeper for its Rehabilitation Department. The role supports Adventist HealthCare’s mission to extend God’s care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing. The Housekeeper follows housekeeping procedures and infection-control protocols while maintaining housekeeping supplies. This is a variable part-time position working 8 hours per week, with a typical schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., every other weekend, and rotating holidays.
Requirements
- At least one year of housekeeping experience or a high school diploma/GED.
- Ability to communicate at a level that allows for safe and efficient job performance.
- Ability to use supplies, tools, and equipment safely and properly.
Responsibilities
- Participate in appropriate housekeeping processes and procedures.
- Assist with maintaining housekeeping supplies and notify the supervisor when refill orders are needed.
- Follow infection-control protocols during daily cleaning, discharges and transfers, and work in ancillary areas, using the Eight Step Cleaning Procedures.
