About The Position

Fort Washington Medical Center seeks a Floor Technician for its Environmental Services Department who will embrace Adventist HealthCare’s mission to extend God’s care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing. The role performs daily departmental activities to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable facility. The technician cleans floors and carpets in assigned areas, follows established Environmental Services procedures, and collects, packs, and disposes of trash according to established procedures. The position requires working effectively with minimal supervision and safely using cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment. This is a variable part-time position on a rotating shift. The typical schedule is evenings, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; other shifts may be requested as needed. Employees follow the company holiday calendar. The position is not on-call. The pay range is $18.00–$23.48.

Requirements

At least 1 year of housekeeping experience.
Ability to communicate at a level that allows safe and efficient job performance.
Ability to use supplies, tools, and equipment safely and properly.

Nice To Haves

A high school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day Environmental Services activities to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable facility.
