  • Must have excellent ability to professionally communicate effectively with customers, clients, supervisors, and other employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to solve problems with a variety of variables in standardized situations and apply common sense solutions that comply with organizational policies.
  • Ability to understand and follow through on instructions furnished in either oral, written, or diagram form.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office on a Windows based computer system.
  • Ability to complete and maintain all required training certifications in accordance with all organizational, County, State, and Federal regulations.
  • This position requires the employee to be able to drive for work purposes and he or she must maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • This position may require the use of the employee’s personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors and surfaces.
  • Change bed linens and make beds as needed.
  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
  • Organize closets, cabinets, and storage areas as needed.
  • Restock household and cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and organizational standards.
  • Assist with event setup and teardown, including moving tables and chairs and cleaning and restoring spaces following events and activities.
  • Promptly report maintenance concerns, damages, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management.
