About The Position

Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers to help provide guests with a clean and comfortable stay. The role involves cleaning and preparing assigned guest rooms, following hotel standards and safety procedures, and supporting housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate works efficiently, takes pride in cleanliness, and treats guests and fellow associates with courtesy and respect.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned rooms within established timeframes.
Dependability, teamwork, and a respectful approach to guest service.
Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to perform essential duties, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, making beds, and pushing a housekeeping cart, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels, toiletries, and guest supplies.
Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean mirrors and other surfaces.
Remove trash and handle soiled linens according to established procedures.
Follow room assignment priorities and accurately communicate room readiness.
Inspect completed work to ensure rooms are clean, complete, and ready for guests.
Promptly report maintenance needs, damaged items, and safety concerns.
Follow guest privacy, room-entry, key-control, and lost-and-found procedures.
Respond courteously to guest requests and communicate additional needs to a supervisor.
Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and stocked.
Use cleaning products and equipment safely and follow sanitation procedures.
Assist with other assigned housekeeping duties to support hotel operations.
