About The Position

The Housekeeper & Laundry Attendant is responsible for laundering various items such as towels, tablecloths, and napkins, as well as cleaning outdoor areas and facility restrooms. This role also involves maintaining the laundry facility, assisting with training, reporting on production, and conducting inventory. Safety consciousness when using machinery and chemicals is essential.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must be able to drive a golf cart
• Must be able to walk the property including inclines and stairs
• May be required to work holidays
• May come in contact with laundry cleaning chemicals and operating hot pressing irons

Responsibilities

• Laundering all towels pertaining to the golf cart operation, locker rooms, shower rooms, restrooms, and pool side operations
• Cleaning of all back of the house outdoor areas
• Laundering and ironing table cloths and napkins for the dining room
• Maintaining a clean laundry facility and keeping it supplied with the appropriate detergents and cleaning supplies
• Maintaining cleanliness of the facilities restrooms
• Assist with the training of new persons
• Be safety conscious at all times in the use of machinery and chemicals
• Assist with monthly linen inventory and a daily production report; and any other duties deemed necessary by management.
